I was watching television last time (Euro Max), and one of the episode is about The Top 3 Nutritious Fruits and i thought i share this here. I am not a fruit lover that much but after watching about the goodness of these fruits i have to start eating them more often for they are readily available almoast anywhere here(except for strawberries where we can only buy them at groceries.).
1. APPLE - Apples are a source of both soluble and insoluble fiber
Five Reasons To Eat An Apple Every Day
• * Your Diet - Apples are the perfect, portable snack: great tasting, energy-boosting, and free of fat.
• Your Heart - Research confirms it! The antioxidant phytonutrients found in apples help fight the damaging effects of LDL (bad) cholesterol.
• Your Digestion - Just one apple provides as much dietary fiber as a serving of bran cereal. (That's about one-fifth of the recommended daily intake of fiber.)
• Your Lungs - An apple a day strengthens lung function and can lower the incidence of lung cancer, as well.
• Your Bones - Apples contain the essential trace element, boron, which has been shown to strengthen bones - a good defense against osteoporosis.

2. BANANA - It’s low in calories, fat, sodium, and much of its fiber is soluble — the kind that can help lower cholesterol. It has lots of potassium, good source of vitamin B6. Rich in carbohydrates, also contain phosphorus, potassium and vitamins A and C. It gives an instant energy that is why athletes love bananas.
3. STRAWBERRIES - Strawberries are a wholesome source for essential vitamins and minerals such as vitamin C, folate, fiber, potassium and antioxidants that help keep you and your family healthy. They are great source of folic acid that help prevents birth defects. They have antioxidants that help fight carcinogens.

When you eat an apple, remove the skin!Pesticide residue may still linger on the skin and many pesticides are known to be carcinogenic. Be on the safe side :)
